The United States leads the way with a total of 3,893 advertised vacancies in the cryptocurrency field. A recent analysis by Monster supports these findings and concluded that the cryptocurrency job market is on the rise in the United States.
Using data provided by the TalentNeuron tool and using insights from technology company CEB, they found that listings for jobs that mentioned the keywords “cryptocurrency,” “bitcoin,” or “blockchain” have risen 194% year by year from 2018 to 2017.
Our research shows that the top three cities in the US for crypto jobs are New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Additionally, the top industries in the US for crypto jobs are Internet & Technology, Banking & Financial Services, Computer Software & Hardware, Accounting and Legal & Private Security.
2. United Kingdom
Moreover, the United Kingdom has a total of 954 jobs in the cryptocurrency field. The top three cities for crypto jobs in the UK are London, Cambridge and Greenford. (Greenford is listed as a separate location from London due to jobs being advertised there).
We found that the top industries in the UK for crypto jobs are Internet & Technology, Banking & Financial Services, Computer Software & Hardware, Information Technology, Media & Publishing.
3. Canada
In third place for the number of jobs in the crypto field is Canada, with a total of 386. The top three cities in Canada for crypto jobs are Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.
The top industries in Canada for crypto jobs are Internet & Technology, Banking & Financial Services, Computer Hardware & Software, Information Technology and Energy & Utilities.
4. Australia
Additionally, among the top leaders in crypto is Australia, which has a total of 236 jobs in the cryptocurrency field. The top three cities in Australia for crypto jobs are Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.

According to Simplilearn, AI and machine learning jobs are expected to continue to grow in the US and have jumped by almost 75%t over the past four years.
This demonstrates that if you possess the skills, pursuing a machine learning job in the US is a great option for a high-paying career that will be in demand for decades.
Our findings show that the top three cities for jobs in AI in the US are New York, Seattle and San Francisco. Moreover, the top industries for jobs related to AI in the US are Computer Software & Hardware, Consulting, Accounting & Legal, Internet & Technology and Information Technology.
2. United Kingdom
The United Kingdom comes in second place with a total of 1,258 jobs in the AI field. The top three cities for jobs related to AI in the UK are London, Cambridge and Manchester.
The top industries for jobs linked to AI in the UK are Computer Hardware & Software, Internet & Technology, Consulting, Banking & Financial Services and Accounting & Legal.

With the recent boom in the cryptocurrency and Artificial Intelligence jobs market, it can be concluded that the demand for talent will continue to increase.
Our findings clearly reveal that the United States is leading the way in terms of opportunities for jobs in both the cryptocurrency and Artificial Intelligence fields. From exploring the numbers, compared to other countries, the United States have a much larger number of jobs available in these areas than the United Kingdom or Canada for example.
Our data also shows that, although to be expected, the top industry in almost all countries for both crypto and AI jobs is Technology.
Finally, we also discovered that in the UK in particular, Engineering is the industry offering the most opportunities for those wanting to work in Cryptocurrency.
Methodology
We explored the top five most advanced countries which are the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and South Africa for jobs in cryptocurrency. Using Glassdoor job listings, we looked at the top cities and industries for crypto jobs in each of these countries and repeated the process for jobs in the AI field.
Glassdoor website was analysed on the 10th of March 2022 and the numbers of advertised jobs are correct as of this date.
